Singing lessons
With more than a decade of teaching experience in a broad range of musical and vocal pedagogy, you can be sure that you are in safe hands when you enter Steph’s Studio.
What do I teach?
-
Upon entering Steph’s one-to-one studio, each new student is given a complimentary full vocal assessment. This includes not just a vocal range test, but an assessment of the overall health of the speaking voice to ensure that you are being taken care of from the very first instance.
Following this, new students will design a vocal plan with Steph to ensure that your vocal and artistic goals are met from the get-go.

Kodaly Pedagogy is a wonderful way of learning how to come to terms with music theory through singing and play. Whilst it is often used with younger learners, this method has been employed by Stephanie at both The University of Bolton: Shockout and Leeds Junior Conservatoire; to teach all levels of music theory.
This unique way of learning is very specialised and Stephanie boasts both two Postgraduate Certificates in it’s Pedagogy; and over a decade in it’s application.

About Steph
Stephanie began teaching in 2009 in Australia working for Claire & Co. Studio’s in Sydney. She has experience working with very young children teaching the basics of music to youngsters between 2-8 years old as well as teaching musicianship and music theory classes according to Australian Music Examination Board (AMEB) syllabus for first to fourth grade theory. Alongside her teaching, she took up conducting the cummunity choir in the parish of St. John the Baptist, Bonnyrigg, giving back to her local community.
It was Stephanie’s time as a conductor in the Parish of Bonnyrigg that saw her in constant demand as a singing teacher.
Stephanie took up classroom teaching at Montgrove College in Orchard Hills and Kincoppal Rose Bay after she she completed a Masters of Teaching from the University of New South Wales in 2014. She was fully accredited in August of 2016 and chose to specialise in Kodály Music education at The Kodály Music Education Institute of Australia.
In 2016 Stephanie was offered a scholarship to come to the U.K. and train as an opera singer at the Royal Northern College of Music.
Now living in the U.K. Stephanie lectures for the University of Bolton: Shockout, Leeds Junior Conservatoire of Music, Rishworth School, and teaches privately. This means that she is always looking to welcome new students into her studio!
